OVERDRAFT PROTECTION OPT-IN

 

Have you ever made an error in calculation or simply forgot to record a transaction in your check register? Not to worry, CPCU provides overdraft on qualifying accounts to avoid to the embarrassment of denied transactions.

Federal regulations pertaining to the overdraft have recently changed. We require consent (opt-in) for each account owner who chooses to continue to allow CPCU to pay ATM and one-time debit transactions which overdraw your account.

If you wish to continue allowing these transactions to be honored, we must obtain your consent. Without consent, any ATM transactions or one-time debit transactions will be denied if there are not enough funds in your account. Note, the opt-in requirement does not pertain to checks clearing on your account, ACH withdrawals, recurring debit transactions, or online banking payments.

Please note, you can change your opt-in/opt-out status at any time.
